Entrance Bushings

Piedmont porcelain dry-type bushings are available in ratings from 15 though 38Kv, 110 through 200 BIL and through 3000 amperes for outdoor to indoor applications.

Capacitance-Graded Oil Free Bushings with silicone sheds rated from 15Kv through 69Kv 110 through 350 BIL and through 4000 amperes for Outdoor to Indoor applications. These bushings are suitable for vacuum circuit breakers, switchgear, and Current Transformers.

Apparatus Bushings

PBI capacitance-graded bushings for Transformer and Oil Circuit breaker applications are a proven design based on a series capacitor core using aluminum foils and high dielectric paper impregnated with epoxy resin.

PBI CRC bushings meet all ANSI/IEEE standards for outdoor apparatus bushings as well as being demonstrated in design testing to have a far superior thermal performance.

Designed to meet the end user’s needs these bushings offer lighter weight than traditional porcelain as well as having non-breakable sheds. This offers the installer less strain as well as provides a safety factor if the bushing is accidentally dropped or has something dropped on it.

Disconnect/Wall Bushings

PBI manufactures disconnect bushings for switchgear out of Capacitively graded cores for far superior performance to porcelain and Cycloaliphatic Epoxy. Our bushings are produced to have <2pC of discharge at 200% rated voltage.
